So, it would be strange if you’re sitting in your car, parked in a Burger King parking lot, and a peacock walked up and jumped onto your hood, right? Now lets say you’re feeding it, wondering how the hell a peacock got there, when some lunatic runs up and starts beating the feathers off the bird… and claiming it’s a vampire. Strange, right?!

I got my hands on a bunch more great music the last couple days.   Modest Mouse’s We Were Dead Before The Ship Even Sank, Easy Star All Stars Radiodread (reggae Radiohead covers), more Horace Andy (Dance Hall Style and Horace Andy’s Dub Box (Rare Dubs 73-76)), Smashing Pumpkins Zeitgeist, and Furry Selection which is a Trojan Records comp put together by Super Furry Animals.  I’m still trying to find Johnny Greenwood’s Trojan comp.

Jackie and I bought an air conditioner off craigslist recently.  10,000 BTU and quite awesome.  We’re currently freezing, but it’s such an awesome change from being a puddle of sweat that neither of us wants to turn it down.  Love it.  The best part is it was only $100, which is about what 5,000 BTU units go for in stores.  I think we’re both planning on sleeping in as late as possible tomorrow.  I was thinking about taking something to help keep me asleep, but I’m not sure I’ll need it.  I have off today, tomorrow, tuesday and wednesday which is really nice.  I need to be making money but having a few days off is a great feeling.  Going to need to spend some of that time looking for a day job though.
